FIRST WORLD PREMIER RECORDING OF MARTIN I SOLER'S COMPLETE STAGE CANTATAS
The stage cantatas IL SOGNO (Vienna, 1789) and LA DORA FESTEGGIANTE (Torino, 1783) are the only secular stage cantatas of MARTÍN i SOLER (1754-1806) located up to date. Juan Bautista Otero, Isidro Olmo along with the Royal Chamber Opera Company of Barcelona have for the first time recorded last March these two stunning masterpieces of the classicism. This world premier performace and recording, together with the first full score critical edition of both pieces is a new RCOC step in the discovery of beautiful unknown jewels of our european musical heritage.

IN MEMORIAM BERNARD COUTAZ, FOUNDER OF HARMONIA MUNDI
Bernard Coutaz, Founder and President of Harmonia Mundi International, died last February 26 at the age of 84 years. Only 2 months before, Juan Bautista Otero and Isidro Olmo were meeting him in Arlés to speak about RCOC and HARMONIA MUNDI INTERNATIONAL present and future projects together.
Juan Bautista Otero, Isidro Olmo and the whole RCOC Team will always remember his extraordinary personality and valuable music legacy.

FIRST FULL SCORE EDITION OF DOMENEC TERRADELLAS' OPERA SESOSTRI (Rome 1751)
RCOC-EDITORIAL has just published the first full-score world edition of Domènec Terradellas (Barcelona 1713 - Rome 1751) opera Sesostri, composed for the roman Teatro Alle Dame in 1751. Based on three different manuscripts Juan Bautista Otero has prepared this critical edition of the work thanks to the support of the Book Department belonging to the Catalan Institut of Cultural Industries, ICIC. World wide distributed, the full score can be purchased directly through RCOC website and for the first time, we offer the possibility of downloading individual musical numbers of this score: arias, intrumental pieces, etc.
The Royal Chamber Opera Company will produce the first world recording and performance of Sesostri next November-December 2010 at the Auditori of Barcelona (premiere 11 December).
